When the Foo Fighters release concert audio, they don’t just put it up on a plain-wrap mp3 player. They go one step further by giving you a cassette player, complete with working buttons and TDK SA 90 minute tape.

Head over to foofighters.com, drop in the cassette, and you’ll be transported back to 1995. Back then, no one had any idea the Foos would eventually go on to be one of the world’s most important rock bands and shove 11 GRAMMY Awards under their belts. Imagine if Dave Grohl had accepted the offer to be the permanent drummer for Tom Petty and  The Heartbreakers. Fortunately for us he said no and went into the studio to record his own album.

The concert audio is the perfect way to hype international fans about their headlining gig at this year’s Reading Festival. Since the early 1970’s thousands from around the globe gather each Summer for the monstrous three day festival. With seven stages, there’s something for every taste.

If there was ever an excuse to hit the mother land, this would be it. Buy your tickets here. You’re on your own for air and hotel.
