Linkin Park‘s multi-faceted Mike Shinoda has been utilizing his plethora of musical talent to co-compose, along with Joseph Trapanese, the soundtrack to upcoming film, The Raid: Redemption.

Released on April 13 and based on an Indonesian martial arts action film, The Raid: Redemption is the story of a criminal safehouse in which an elite task force gets trapped inside while trying to get the drug lord who runs it.

With such a hardcore storyline, Shinoda decided to enlist the “hardcore” help of Chino Moreno, lead singer of alternative metal band Deftones, on a song called “Razors.Out.”

Currently, Linkin Park is rumored to be be in the studio working on their follow-up to A Thousand Suns with Rick Rubin and touring soon with Incubus.

The soundtrack for The Raid: Redemption is now available for digital download at TheRaidSoundtrack.Com.
