Jonathan Davis, aka JDevil, of Korn recently visited U.S. troops at Ramstein Air Base in Germany to greet some injured servicemen and women. The touching visit was documented on a video posted to Monster Energy’s website. The video begins with Davis trying out some Army equipment (namely an M-50 gas mask) and autographs what looks like a missile. It should be noted that “Bite My A** Osama” is scrawled in Sharpie on the top of the missile.

Davis then visits s few combat-wounded soldiers who are unable to attend the Korn show that was scheduled later that night. Richard, one of the injured servicemen JD meets has been a fan since his teenage years. Another wounded vet reminisces about driving a convertible around Las Vegas in 1998 while waiting for “Got The Life” to come on the car radio.

Josie Borisow, emergency manager at Ramstein describes how integral music is to the military experience and how meaningful Davis’ visit is to the troops. The visit proves important for the Korn frontman as well; the clip closes with Davis saying “I won’t ever forget this.” Watch the video here.

Korn’s current album The Path of Totality was released December 2nd of 2011 and showcases dubstep artists such as Skrillex, 12th Planet, and Excision. Details about the remainder of the band’s tour can be found on their website.
