Tonight’s HFS Locals Only Spotlight revisits Baltimore noise rock band Roomrunner, as we feature the lead track from their new album Ideal Cities.

We last featured the band about a month and a half ago with “Weird”, another track from the forthcoming full-length. Meanwhile, the comparisons to Nirvana and very early Foo Fighters keep coming, and the band gets yet more praise from popular sites such as Pitchfork and SPIN–the latter of which is streaming the entire album right now, along with track-by-track commentary by frontman Denny Bowen.

Ideal Cities drops next Tuesday, May 28th, and the band is following it up with an album release show on Wednesday, May 29th at Metro Gallery along with Austin band Ringo Deathstarr. Tickets are on sale now, and they’re a mere $8.

Check out “Bait Car” below, and join the band’s bandwagon by following Roomrunner on Facebook and on Twitter…and if you’ve got a local band you’d like us to feature on the HFS Locals Only Spotlight one of these weeknights–now at 8 PMhere’s how to get your stuff to us.
