Looking for something to do this weekend? Maryland is a land of plenty this weekend, as Maryland has so much – so close! As Baltimore prepares for the 200th Anniversary of the National Anthem, a War of 1812 Re-enactment takes place in Havre de Grace and the bravery of Kitty Knight is remembered during the Galena Dogwood Festival. Fleece and crooks are just part of the annual Sheep and Wool Festival at the Howard County Fairgrounds. Four days of entertainment during Ocean City’s SpringFest is an annual rite of the season. Plus enjoy the Berlin Jazz and Blues Festival nearby. A Baltimore Rite of Spring is Flower Mart on Mt. Vernon Square. And, the Garden Festival at Ladew Topiary Gardens offers hard-to-find flowers for your landscape.
