There perhaps hasn’t been this much buzz surrounding a Jack White album in quite some time — and much of it has little to do with the music at hand.

Lazaretto, the former White Stripe’s second solo release, is out next Tuesday (June 10), but the album is now streaming in full ahead of its due date on iTunes Radio, Consequence of Sound reports.

The 11-song LP has been teased since the beginning of April, when White announced Lazaretto and debuted the track “High Ball Stepper.” Since then, promotion for the record has included cutting the title track as the fastest-released record in the world, moving the single version from the recording studio to the store for consumers quicker than anything that’s preceded it. The feat was accomplished just in time for this year’s Record Store Day.

But White’s 2014 hasn’t been without its tumult, either. Last weekend, the rocker apologized on his website after a series of interviews that didn’t exactly shine a positive light on White as a person. In interviews with Spin and Rolling Stone, he had less-than-stellar words to say about the Black Keys (who, to be fair, haven’t been civil themselves), opened up about his relationship with Meg White — or lack thereof — and much more.
