The surviving members of Stone Temple Pilots are paying tribute to their former lead singer, the late Scott Weiland.

Today the band released a black and white clip of the group in studio listening to “Atlanta” from their album No. 4.

“Dean and Eric and I wanted to honor Scott and we thought the best way to do that would be musically,” says Robert DeLeo in voiceover. “We chose this song because we feel it represents one of the times in our career that Scott was truly at his best.”

Weiland passed away on December 3rd, as the result of an accidental drug overdose, he was 48.
