As if getting into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame isn’t enough, the frontman of Cheap Trick and a Deep Purple alumni are each getting a second honor, just weeks after their induction.

Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, Sex Pistols‘ guitarist Steve Jones, Hole frontwoman Courtney Love and other rock luminaries will May 12 at the Fonda Theater in Hollywood to celebrate the April 8 induction of Deep Purple and Cheap Trick into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame.

The show will was organized by Adopt The Arts and funds raised will promote public school arts education across the country. Other rockers who will perform at the show include Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor, ex-Guns N’ Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke and drummer Matt Sorum, and The Cult guitarist Billy Duffy.

“This isn’t just about your kid who may or may not be in public school – this is about our community,” said Sorum in a statement. “A lot of entertainers and wealthy people in the entertainment industry don’t know what is happening in America’s public schools.

Adopt The Arts is shedding light on the reality of public education and providing an opportunity for people to invest in their community.”

Ticket prices range from $40 for general admission to $4,500 to sit at the VIP meet-and-greet table. See AXS for ticket details.
